FileMaker Pro is a program for creating and editing databases. It helps to manage resources, projects and reports. What's more, it's a tool to transfer data between different platforms - FileMaker Pro is available for both PC and Mac users.

The program is similar to such applications as Microsoft Access or FoxPro. However, it has a much wider range of database management capabilities, as well as the function of creating multiple tables in a single document. FileMaker Pro also allows you to make changes during data processing.

The interface of the program supports tools and add-ons from other companies, thanks to which the user can significantly expand its functions and adapt them to their own requirements. FileMaker Pro supports Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle databases from version 9.0 onwards. You can also export and import DBF files.

The application is also available in Polish. A number of changes have been introduced in the latest version of the program. Added, among others, a quick search, a new Inspector menu, quick reports similar to a spreadsheet.

The application interface and the appearance of the report assistant have also been improved. The update introduces the ability to create step-by-step reports. Periodic import of data from Microsoft Excel as well as CSV and TAB files has also been made available.

Thanks to this, you only need to select the documents from which you want to retrieve information once. Later FileMaker will do it automatically.
