Fate by Numbers is a completely free game in the form of an interactive video. It was created by several Dutch students as a thesis. With a budget of 1500 Euros and the help of a few closest friends, a fantastic project was created - a "game-film".

The player's task is to help Alice Sanger solve the case of the mysterious suitcase she was supposed to pick up from the metro station and the suspicious case of her husband, who had already been considered dead for some time. As befits a detective, one should prepare for a visit to several places, interrogation of witnesses and people who can help to unravel the whole jigsaw puzzle. Apart from that, during the game we will have to make a few phone calls, break into a few buildings, servers, analyze a few photos and skillfully connect with each other a few important events.

The extensive storyline with film graphics makes it possible to really believe Alice's story, thus breaking away from reality for a few hours. Although Fate by Numbers Episode I is a part that can be successfully completed in a few hours, it is also worth seeing how interesting productions can be created with a little effort and a bit of good intentions.
