EyeFrame Converter is a free tool for converting video clips (also from EOS cameras) to formats compatible with the Lightworks editor. The free version of Lightworks does not offer the possibility to import too many video formats. Native support for MOV files imported from DSLR cameras is also not very efficient.

EyeFrame Converter offers a proxy creation function (lower resolution and bitrate of the original equivalents), which allows much less painful editing of video content. If we want to export the final material in the best quality, we replace the proxy files with the original ones and in this way we will get the final clip in the highest possible quality.
