Codenica Audit is a program designed to remotely audit computers on the network and monitor computers and employees on the network. The application enables remote scanning of IT resources without the use of installed agents (DCOM), with the use of installed agents and also with the use of desktop scanners (scanning computers from USB drive to files). The Codenica Audit application can function both as an independent product for auditing and monitoring employees, as well as in conjunction with the Codenica Inventory system as a comprehensive IT system in the company.
The audit process in Codenica Audit is divided into two parts: scanning and recognition. The first part is responsible for downloading source information (WMI, Windows Registry, scanned files) from the audited computers.
The second is the process of converting source objects into inventoried objects (computer sets, hardware and software). Each of these stages can be configured in detail by the User. Each object recognized in the audit (computer, hardware, software) has its own history since its creation and records any changes made.
Objects can be merged with other objects to create OEM, CAL or membership relationships. The program allows you to perform single or periodic audits (computer audits, software legality audits). The completed audit can be completed with a printout of relevant statements and reports from the program, or exported to the Codenica Inventory IT inventory system and further processed there.
The second important feature of Codenica Audit is the mechanism for monitoring computers and employees on the network. It requires the installation of so-called Agents, i.e. small modules for monitoring the current work of the computer and the activity of the employee.
The agent allows, among other things, to monitor activities such as switching on and off the computer, keyboard and mouse keys pressed, window activity times in the foreground and idle times, software and installed devices.
