eBoostr is an alternative use of Vista ReadyBoost and SuperFetch technologies in older versions of Microsoft systems. SuperFetch (an extension of the Windows XP Prefetching technology) offers more efficient management of the memory installed in the computer. On a machine with more RAM (e.g.
2 GB) Windows Vista works much better than Windows XP, especially after a certain period of use. This is because Vista "learns" what applications and their features are most frequently used and optimizes performance. For those with less memory, Windows ReadyBoost technology was developed.
If you have a removable flash memory (USB flash drive or SD card), you can use it to accelerate your system. This technology saves the data used by the memory manager on the memory. This is how eBoostr works, which also reduces the use of RAM, prolongs the life of unplugged laptops, starts the system and the applications available in it faster.
