EasyHDR BASIC is a free version of a popular program designed for HDR (High Dynamic Range) image processing. The application is a worthy alternative to Photomatix Pro and has a user-friendly interface. EasyHDR BASIC is used to create high dynamic range HDR images based on a sequence of different photographs taken with a digital camera.

It is then tone mapped to reduce the global contrast of the image while retaining all the details visible on it. The program supports the following graphic formats - JPEG and RAW. EasyHDR BASIC can be used to improve the quality of any photos.

However, the noise effect can be eliminated by using appropriate filters - median and bilateral. In addition, the application also enables sharpening and smoothing the image, modifying colours and framing. EasyHDR BASIC also allows you to process and combine individual image files and has a set of predefined settings, sharing the most commonly used sets of different parameters.

The program also supports multi-core processors, which significantly affect the processing speed of individual images.
