DVD-Ranger Player is a free and easy to use video player, whose capabilities would not be in vain even commercial solutions of this type. It can play high-resolution movie files, DVD and Blu-ray discs, disc image files and music. The program is equipped with a simple graphical interface, reminiscent of the popular VLC media player.

It supports hardware acceleration (CUDA architecture) and is characterized by high speed for HD movies with resolutions up to 2560x1440 pixels. The biggest advantage of the DVD-Ranger Player, however, is support for Blu-ray format. The player offers features that allow you to watch movies not so much from a file stored on your computer, DVD, but also BD and ISO image.

No codecs or audio/video filters are required to watch movies on a PC using the DVD-Ranger Player - they have been integrated by the creators into the player. The program also features playlists, creation of screenshots from the movie being played, providing detailed information about the codecs required to view the video file, correction of basic parameters of the displayed image (including saturation, contrast, brightness) and selection of audio, video, and subtitles. Media file formats supported by the player include AVI, MKV, MP4,VOB, M2TS, M4V, MOV, WMV, TS, M4V, FLV and MP3, ACC, WMA, OGG, MP2, MP1, FLAC, APE, M4A, WAV and A3C.
