DraftSight is a DWG-compliant AutoCAD LT clone. The program is designed to work only with two-dimensional projects. DraftSight, created by Dassault, is a two-dimensional version of Graebert's ARES CAD.
The interface of the program is very strongly modelled on AutoCAD, so that users familiar with it will easily find their way into the new environment. DraftSight also allows you to export projects to PDF, SVG, PNG, BMP and JPG files. Full DWG support is possible thanks to the Teigha libraries in use, developed by the Open Design Alliance.
The association brings together over a thousand companies and organizations, including giants such as Adobe and Bricsys. The possibilities of the program can be further extended by installing plugins or extensions.
