DIOD is a tiny program residing in the system tray, which controls the keypad diodes signalling the transfer of the network connection. It allows you to monitor any network interface (e.g. network card) or active Dial-Up modem connection.
When you move the mouse cursor over the program icon, it displays how many megabytes were downloaded/sent while the program was running. It can be used (by setting flashing every 1 kb) also in multiplayer games - it will show us the current speed and stability of our connection (fast, continuous flashing). The program requires Microsoft .NET Framework installed in the system.
The latest version of the .NET Framework can be downloaded under PROGRAMS -> Add-ons -> Libraries and other add-ons.
Before using the program, the author recommends reading the mini help on its page or in the text file attached to the program.
