Desktop iCalendar Lite is a small application that acts as a calendar displayed on your Windows desktop. Due to the offered functionality, it also works well as a personal organizer, allowing to manage from the desktop level a list of user-relevant events and tasks to be performed. The program is appreciated by users primarily for its clear and intuitive graphical interface and convenience in its use.
Operations such as adding a new event or a task to be performed are limited to just a few mouse clicks and entering the basic parameters. The latter included the title of the defined element, its start and end dates, location, description, and category. Desktop iCalendar Lite allows you to define events and cyclical tasks that will be automatically repeated from time to time.
Each of them can be accompanied by an alarm declared by the user in the form of a pop-up notification and/or an acoustic signal. Correctly added items are displayed on the calendar and accompanying lists of events and TODO. The position of the calendar and the lists available with it on the desktop can be arbitrary.
The user can drag and drop selected application elements into different areas of the desktop without restrictions. The appearance and colouring of the calendar can be changed through the use of graphic motifs available in the program options. It is also possible to create your own styles, define colours, font size and position, and so on.
The iCalendar Lite Desktop allows you to subscribe to Google's public calendars, as well as collaborate with calendars created using Apple iCal, Lightning, and Sunbird.
