Temporary Switch is a free and feature-rich application designed to automate shutdown/restart operations and logout of an active user. The program is characterized by a very simple operation and intuitive user interface. In the Free version it offers 2 modes of operation - normal and server.

In the latter, the application loops the action to be performed, calling Time-Offset in the system startup and automatically starting with the last saved settings. Normal mode, on the other hand, does not allow you to configure the tool according to your own requirements (it does not have a lock screen after restarting the computer - as in parent mode). There was also a feature designed to block access to the indicated URLs.

Creators also make available a paid and functionally extended edition marked as Pro. In addition to technical support, there is an additional parent mode, in which after executing the desired command, after a specified time, the system will not start when restarted, because the desktop lock panel will be activated and the child will not be allowed to continue working on the computer. In addition, there is an option to manage the user's account via the WWW and to monitor and shut down the computer via SMS.
