CyberLink YouCam is a tool to manipulate the image recorded via a webcam. Its unquestionable advantage is a set of interesting effects, which can be used e.g. during video conversations with friends.

The program is equipped with advanced edge detection technology, thanks to which the offered effects are interactive and react to the user's movements in front of the camera. In addition to the many standard effects of changing the color of the image, superimposing different objects and animations on it, or subtitles, CyberLink YouCam also has effects such as falling leaves or snowflakes that fall and remain on the body in front of the camera and that can be "removed" with the right movement, but also virtual hats that move with the movement of the head. The tool also allows you to add a variety of three-dimensional objects to the camera image that react to the movement or touch of the user's hands.

Additionally, from CyberLink YouCam we have the ability to create our own avatars from available face elements and accessories, record short videos and publish them on Facebook or YouTube. The program supports all currently most popular webcams, supports video formats (MJPEG, YUY2 and H.264 *) and supports Windows Live Messenger, Skype, Yahoo Messenger and AOL Instant Messenger. Photos and video clips created with its use can be saved in Full HD resolution, i.e.

1920 x 1080 pixels. Supported formats include AVI, JPG, BMP and PNG.
