It is a nice platforming game in a fairy-tale atmosphere, in which the player embodied in the form of a parent-crayon sets out to rescue kidnapped children-crayons. Colourful balloons help us to release them on individual boards. Thanks to them we gain, among other things, a stronger jump, the possibility of eliminating guards-mazaks or breaking walls.

However, the biggest advantage of the crayon in the fight against the enemy is the ability to paint lines on the game board in any way you like. This causes that in Crayon Caper Rescue, apart from dexterity aspects, there are also tactical aspects of Crayon Caper Rescue. We can guide the lines in such a way that we can jump over them to places otherwise unattainable, or set traps and skillfully eliminate intrusive enemies.
