Comodo Cleaning Essentials (CCE) is a package of three tools that, in their opinion, identify and remove from an already infected computer, including various types of malware or dangerous processes. Its main component is the on-demand scanner, capable of working in 3 modes - Smart Scan (scanning the most important and most susceptible areas of the system), Full Scan (full system analysis) or Custom Scan (scanning only the elements indicated by the user). The program updates the virus signature databases before starting its work.

When the scanning process is complete, it displays a report and allows you to select the preferred action for the detected irregularities. The advantage of this scanner is the ability to run it in the so-called Aggressive Mode by holding down the 'Shift' key while opening the tool. It allows you to effectively fight against viruses in situations where, for example, these block the launch of all kinds of applications.

Two additional tools - KillSwitch and Autorun Analyzer - are a good addition to this on-demand scanner.
