CommView for WiFi is a versatile tool for monitoring and analyzing wireless network activity, compliant with the 802.11 a/b/g/n standard. The program is addressed to all kinds of WLAN administrators, security specialists, creators of network applications, but also to everyone who wants to have a full picture of traffic generated within their own wireless network. It captures every packet you send and provides you with information such as lists of access points and computers using them, signal strength, packet combination and active connections.

Skilful reading can be helpful in solving network, software or hardware problems. CommView for WiFi, in addition to packet capture, can also decrypt (using user-defined WEP or WPA-PSK keys) and then decode to the lowest layer. With support for 70 of the most popular protocols, the tool gives you the ability to access detailed information on each intercepted packet.

They are displayed as a tree and contain data about protocol layers and package headers. The tool can be extended to support additional wireless traffic encryption standards. Additionally, CommView for WiFi is equipped with a VoIP module, which enables the analysis, recording and playback of voice calls via SIP protocol and in accordance with the H.323 standard.
