CodeTwo Public Folders is a unique Polish program that allows you to create public folders in Microsoft Outlook application, so that many users can share data and work on them at the same time. The application allows a small and medium group of users without the need to buy a Microsoft Exchange server to transform Outlook into a tool for group work, share public calendars, plan meetings together, keep a shared address book of contacts, share mail received and many more. After installation, an additional tree of public folders appears in Outlook, where the user can create, edit and delete folders and elements of any type.
All changes made to public folders are immediately visible in public folders on other computers on the network. In the fifth version of the flagship product CodeTwo there are many improvements expected by users. One of the most important is Outlook synchronization over the Internet (and not only over the local network), as well as a tool to synchronize files over both the Internet and LAN.
In addition, Outlook data can now also be synced to iPhone, iPad and Mac via iCloud. All transmitted data is encrypted. CodeTwo Public Folders 5 contains a central repository of user accounts, but can also integrate with Active Directory.
