Chromium OS (CloudReady) is a virtual virtual virtual machine, thanks to which, using a manager (e.g. VirtualBox), you can run an operating system based on the Chromium browser. Neverware is responsible for the preparation of the machine, which provides its own compilations of Chrome OS in a free version (Home version without an administrative console) and in commercial variants.

On its pages you will find images with which the system can be installed on your computer's hard drive. Chromium OS is an open version of Chrome OS. With a virtual machine, you can check the possibilities of this operating system without having to buy a blind device.

Chromium OS on a virtual machine, however, has many limitations compared to Chrome OS: no availability of the Google Play store, support for only one resolution and much lower performance.
