ChrisPC Screen Recorder is a powerful program for capturing screenshots of both images and movies. It is characterized by many settings and a large number of available options already in the free version (there is also a paid version). The application allows you to record and dump the whole screen, a selected window or just a manually selected area.

For movies, you can select one of six quality levels and several frame rate settings (maximum 60). You can also adjust the encoder speed at several levels to avoid overloading your computer's processor. In the program you will also find the possibility to record the mouse cursor on the recordings.

The vast majority of functions can be operated not only with the mouse, but also with keyboard shortcuts. Quite perversely, in the free version of the application described here you will not find the possibility of overwriting to record a watermark; it is a functionality reserved for a paid release.
