Calligra Suite is a free set of office applications, part of the KDE environment and previously developed under the name KOffice. It brings together open source programs for text editing, spreadsheets, multimedia presentations and even vector graphics. Despite the fact that the software is currently in the development phase, it is an interesting alternative to popular office packages such as Microsoft Office or LibreOffice.

It contains several fully functional applications not only for simple office work, text editing, presentation creation, etc., but also interesting tools for creating vector graphics, planning and organizing time, as well as drawing diagrams, block diagrams, and so on. Calligra Suite includes the following applications: Calligra Words text editor, Calligra Sheets and Calligra Stage multimedia presentations software.

As an interesting addition to these items, the creators also made available the Calligra Plan application, which allows you to manage time, tasks and projects, the Karbon graphic editor to create vector graphics - clipart, logotypes, etc., as well as the simple Calligra Flow software for drawing and designing various types of diagrams, diagrams, etc. The application is designed to be used for the creation of vector graphics. At the moment the package is available only in English language version, but its operation is so intuitive that it should not cause problems even for novice users.
