A simple, free program to help you recover files from physically damaged media (especially CDs/DVDs and floppy disks) when the normal copying attempt ends with a message "The system cannot read from a particular device" or similar. The program tries to copy the selected file to a specific location (e.g. to a hard disk) while preserving the original structure and length of the file.
Of course, the fragments of the file that were stored on physically damaged areas of the medium cannot be recovered, but the whole file can be further processed in order to at least partially restore the data stored in it. The prerequisite for starting file recovery is the ability to read the structure of folders and media files.
