BitTorrent is the official client of the BitTorrent protocol, which is used to exchange files in the increasingly popular direct file exchange network (p2p) with the same name. The program allows you to download various data shared by users from all over the world (music, movies, software, etc.), distributed in the form of files with the .torrent extension. It offers a whole set of interesting functions, which do not burden the system, and significantly contribute to the convenience of downloading particularly large amounts of data.
Among them you will find options for downloading multiple files at once, queuing tasks, prioritizing them, as well as setting transfer limits and cataloguing the downloaded data. In addition, BitTorrent provides a lot of detailed information about the downloaded file and generates transfer statistics. Thanks to them we can see the so-called seeds and peers, a list of trackers and clients and a graph illustrating the transfer of files from/to our computer.
In addition, the program is equipped with an RSS reader and a useful function to turn off, reset or hibernate the computer after the download or completion of all tasks.
