BenchMe is an extremely easy to use benchmark of drives, allowing you to test the speed of reading data from SSDs, HDDs, but also portable memory and memory cards. It also displays whether the media supports selected control technologies, including S.M.A.R.T. Start testing by indicating in the list of media to be tested.
All computer partitions (including volume names, which is not obvious in this type of software) and the portable media connected to the computer are displayed here. Once you have selected the right drive, all you have to do is press the large Start button. A test of data reading speed will start, displaying the results in real time on the chart.
The minimum and maximum values reached are also marked. In the case of SSDs, the entire test does not last longer than a dozen or so tens of seconds. The program will work well, therefore, mainly in situations where we want to quickly check the performance of disk reading.
