AudioShell is a tool that allows you to view and edit ID3 tags in sound files. The program is free of charge and after installation it is integrated with Windows Explorer. AudioShell supports the most popular music file formats, including but not limited to:

MP3 (all ID3 versions), WMA, ASF, WMV, M4A, M4P, M4R, M4B, MP4, AIFF, OGG and FLAC. The ID3 tag editor and the renaming function are available from the Windows Explorer context menu, so you can quickly perform any operation on selected songs. You can add additional information to your files (names of whole albums, individual songs and artists, copyrights) and add miniature covers.

Nothing prevents you from seeing the lyrics on the screen during your favourite song. There is also a free space for entering a short user note associated with the file.
