Aseprite Free is an older, but free edition of a tool designed mainly for creating pixel art gaming animations. It also allows you to create standard, static images, but it seems a bit difficult. The application has a very simple and aesthetically pleasing graphical interface, which was made according to the pixel art technique and which can be associated by older users with the first operating systems with a graphical user interface.

Nevertheless, it has a set of tools and functions, which wouldn't be ashamed of many more extensive graphic programs. Within Aseprite you will find, among other things, the mechanism of cards, allowing for simultaneous work with many images, options for convenient manipulation of the palette of colors and size of our project, or functions of layers, with the help of which it is possible to create more complex images composed of many independent of each other objects. Aseprite 0.9.5 free version has been released for Windows, Linux and Mac OS.

It is distributed in a portable form that does not require any installation - the application is ready to work right after downloading.
