Armored Warfare is a good leap aside for the established Obsidian Entertainment studio, so far associated primarily with excellent RPG games. From the production of usually turn-based products, it passed with impetus to making proposals from the current of network action for a wide range of customers.

The title focuses on fighting in modern sceneries and the use of the latest armoured achievements of technology in combat. You will shoot at the enemy under a nuclear reactor in Spain, try to bounce back an island of great strategic importance, defend oil in the Middle East or play cat and mouse in a ruined port. Armored Warfare can show off its attractive graphic design, and at the same time you don't need such a powerful computer to run the game.

You can choose from several main categories, from different types of tanks, through armored combat vehicles, to powerful self-propelled guns. Each of them will of course also come to develop and improve. The main mode of play is clashes of 15 tankers, but there are also missions for those who want to fight with a computer in cooperation with their friends on the net (up to 5 people).

Together they will face artificial intelligence in more than 20 different locations. It is enough to have an efficient, repaired unit. This second option is a great tutorial before entering a real online war, because you can set here, among other things, the level of difficulty.

The CryENGINE technology is responsible for the high level of detail in the environment and vehicles, the same technology that was used for example in fantastic games from the Crysis series. In addition to looking after the tanks, players must also take care of their base. It enriches the already very interesting game with a strategic element.
