ArchiCAD is currently one of the most popular architectural design programs. The application was created for engineers, construction companies and more demanding architects. The software allows you to create two-dimensional, three-dimensional projects, as well as in axonometric and perspective view.

The 2D mode is ideal for drawing sections as well as for facades and floor plans. On the three-dimensional screen we can create objects and whole rooms, as well as present our finished projects at school or at work. The program is characterized by the possibility of designing in the BIM (Building Information Modeling) system, i.e.

building modeling, which additionally includes information about the construction project. The user can define a selected graphic item and give it appropriate parameters. The BIM method is necessary at the stage of preparation of construction documentation, management and operation of various facilities or during cost estimation and planning of construction works.

In addition to standard home design tools, the application also allows you to create advanced walls (such as curtain walls), advanced vector filling and the design of more complex architectural forms, known from historical or contemporary architecture. There was also a modern rendering system to create realistic projects, as well as a special "free camera" mode to move around the created room or the whole building.
