Android SDK (Android Software Development Kit) is an official set of tools necessary to create applications and games for the Android mobile platform, made available free of charge by Google. It includes SDK Tools and Platform Tools components, as well as the necessary documentation, libraries, emulator, debugger and many other useful tools. Android SDK is characterized by a modular structure (it is possible to conveniently install additional components) and was released for Windows, Linux and Mac OS operating systems.
