Alien Swarm is a TPS shooter with hundreds of thousands of fans almost all over the world, i.e. seen from the perspective of a third party. This is an action game with an emphasis on tactical and cooperative actions.

The game is designed to play in both online and offline mode. The latter is a practice mode, and the soldiers accompanying us in our mission replace the computer. However, the best fun takes place when we offer online gameplay to our friends.

This can be done very easily thanks to the special web platform Steam, which you need to download in order to install the game. Steam allows you not only to buy (here it should be mentioned that Alien Swarm is fully free) and download computer games, but also permanent contact with friends, who can be invited to the game at any time. Alien Swarm shows the game world in isometric projection.

The environment is concentrated in dark, abandoned space colonies, where we are sent to eliminate aliens and regain their occupied territories. A maximum of 4 players can appear on the field of play, who can choose their character from 8 different profiles available, creating 4 different classes: An officer - an experienced soldier with outstanding combat and leadership skills, a Medic - able not only to heal and disinfect wounds, but also to fight on an equal footing with others, a Technician - a person necessary to hack computers, open all manholes and use a welder, but also firearms and a class of Special Weapons - that is soldiers with "qualifications" to use more efficient weapons with a greater field of destruction.

The whole gameplay is also enriched with an advanced system of so-called achievements. There are 64 of them in the whole game. They include among others:

"Clean fire' - kill 25 drones without wounding any member of the team, 'Controlled fire' - complete the mission without wounding any member of the team, 'Large explosion'. - killing 6 strangers with one grenade, "Sniper" - completing the mission with 90% of their own shooting efficiency, "Break them apart". - killing 100 larvae of the swarm or even "Close Encounters".

- kill 20 of them in one mission. There are 40 different weapons at the disposal of players, but their discovery and acquisition takes place systematically as the game progresses. Undoubtedly, the most important feature of Alien Sworm is building skills of action and fight in a team.

Leading the game alone we will not do anything and we will not recover any base from foreign hands. When working in groups, one should remember to protect other crew members and take care of their health and ammunition. Don't be slow in your actions, but don't hurry either.
