AIMP is one of the leaders in music playback software. In addition to setting up playlists and playing music, the application also offers a set of tools for editing tags, converting sound between different formats, ripping discs or recording sound. All these tools are available in the form of an external application not included in the standard player.

An additional advantage of AIMPa is the support of plug-ins (extending the functionality) and skins allowing you to adjust the appearance of the player to individual preferences. In addition, AIMP uses very little system resources; on average about 8 MB of RAM.
