Zimbra Desktop is a program that combines mail client, calendar, list of tasks to do and a convenient clipboard for important files with the ability to search. This package supports IMAP, POP3 and test accounts as well as Exchange. Zimbra is a free, open program that allows you to manage communication, plan meetings, save tasks to do and do everything you need to organize office work.

Mail client and calendar work with different types of accounts, but you have to reckon with problems with Exchange accounts. Zimbra Desktop makes it easy to set up email accounts in popular services such as Gmail or Yahoo! It is also possible to keep an address book and automatically save the data of people with whom correspondence is being conducted.

Important files can be saved in the "briefcase", there is also a separate section for notes and tasks to do. A small calendar showing the current month is always displayed in the corner. All data can be searched with the help of an advanced search engine.

The program's capabilities can be extended by plug-ins called Zimletami.
