YUMI (Your Universal Multiboot Installer) is a small tool for creating bootable USB storage devices with operating systems, antivirus software, computer diagnostics and partition cloning tools. YUMI allows the user to place on a single USB stick (e.g. USB flash drive, external hard drive, etc.) or memory card multiple programs and operating systems in the form of ISO images and RAR/ZIP archives.

Such a prepared media with software may turn out to be irreplaceable when we would like to test some Linux distribution and we do not want to install it yet or we do not have a CD/DVD drive in our computer. What's more, it will allow us to diagnose problems that prevent the system from booting, detect hardware failure or remove viruses that cause the operating environment to malfunction, for example. Using it, you can also easily restore a previously made backup of a partition or disc.

The capabilities of the YUMI-enabled bootable media really depend on the software we place on it. Operation of YUMI is very simple - both the process of starting the software and placing it on a USB disk should not cause any problems for anyone. The tool is equipped with a function that allows for automatic downloading of selected programs and Linux distribution from the Internet.
