Xperia Companion (formerly Sony PC Companion) is, as the name suggests, a set of software for managing Sony (Ericsson) phones. It allows you not only to manage files and multimedia on your device from your computer, but also to access applications provided by the manufacturer or operator, phone software updates and online user support, technical support and various manuals. The program significantly improves the search for and installation of software on the device, which has been released by the manufacturer and the mobile network operator.

Operation of Xperia Companion is very simple. The package has a clear graphical interface and is available in many languages, including Polish. The whole was divided into several modules responsible for performing specific tasks and operations.

The connection to the phone can be made via USB cable, Bluetooth interface or WiFi network. However, the manufacturer recommends the use of the first of these methods of connecting the device to the computer. In addition, an Internet connection is required to download applications and updates.
