X-Bomber is a free space shooter in the old style, following in the footsteps of such hits as the unforgettable Raptor or Tyrian. The inspiration for this free proposal was a Japanese fairy tale with puppets, telling the story of the last hope of humanity in the fight against a powerful enemy, the title unit with enormous firepower. You don't need to know the events from the series.
The gameplay boils down to eliminating more enemies. We are constantly flying upstairs, spreading the enemies' individuals into the dust. Always keep in mind the level of shielding, armour and energy of the weapon.
Ships have several attack modes, useful in different situations. For example, lasers work best on large but free objects, and fast enemies will more effectively destroy weak but self-introducing beams. We receive a number of different missions to complete.
The game offers very good quality, detailed graphics, as well as catchy sound. Numerous visual effects are pleasing to the eye. There is, of course, a system for collecting offensive and defensive afterburners along the way.
Sometimes too much happens on the screen, but this is only to keep the player alert. Over the years, X-Bomber has managed to gather a large community of faithful fans around him.
