The encoder supports multiple reference frames, 8x8 and 4x4 transforms, lossless encoding on multiple CPUs, contextual encoding and adaptive contextual encoding with variable length codes and much more. Create files with x264 with programs such as Gordian Knot, MediaCoder, VLC media player or Avidemux.
