WizFile is an interesting file browser, which can successfully replace the one built into Windows. The program is characterized by a very fast file search thanks to basing on the MFT table from NTFS disks, although it is not the only supported file system. The operation is very simple and boils down to typing a search phrase or extension in the top window of the application.

All disks or only selected disks can be searched, and files can be searched by name or whole paths. The results are displayed on the screen almost immediately. Clicking on any file or folder will take you directly to its view in the system Explorer.

In order to make the WizFile easier, apart from the file name, we will also read its full path, permissions or modification date.
