Wipe is a free tool to protect your privacy. It removes all traces of activity on your computer, while allowing you to recover small amounts of disk space occupied by redundant data. A characteristic feature of the program is its simple and intuitive operation.

Wipe gives you the ability to work in two modes - basic, fully automated and designed for beginners, and advanced, where you can decide for yourself to delete data from the disk. The tool supports all the most popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera) and other utility programs, which during their operation save various unnecessary information on the disk. Immediately after starting up, the tool performs a thorough analysis of the contents of the hard drive, during which it detects software installed on the computer and data that can be deleted.

After this process, Wipe expects the user to indicate one of the possible operating modes. Additional functions allow us to define whether the program should automatically clear all confidential information collected during the operation of a web browser, turn off the indicated processes after scanning and protect the computer with a password. Wipe is also available in a paid Pro version, which in addition to the functionality of the free edition offers several modes of data overwriting (DOD 5220.22, Gutmann and GOST P50739-95), ensuring that deleted data will in no way be recoverable.
