Win8Starter is a small tool designed for Windows 8 users who would like to restore the Start button and its associated menu to the environment. After installation, the program adds to the taskbar the well-known from previous editions of Windows Start menu, from which it is possible to easily access many system functions, as well as the software installed on the computer. The appearance and functionality of the restored Start Menu is almost identical to the one you can find in Windows 7.

It contains a list of the most frequently opened applications and system functions, as well as access to user folders, all programs and games installed on the system, computer shutdown options, and so on. The Start menu created by Win8Starter automatically adjusts its colour scheme to the set of colours of the system windows. Importantly, the tool works as a separate process in the operating environment, so that it can be closed at any time.
