What immediately distinguishes the project from others is the characteristic graphic style. The artists rejected realism in Wild Star and went into a more cartoon setting.

The world is extremely colourful, though sometimes dark at the same time, and the characters present themselves as if taken out of computer animated films. What is worth bearing in mind is the fact that the product is the fruit of cooperation between former Blizzard developers, who were bored with World of Warcraft.
