WebSite X5 Evolution is an extensive edition of a very easy to use tool, allowing you to create not only simple websites, but also online shops and blogs. It does not require the user to be familiar with graphical software or even HTML language. Unlike competing solutions of this type, the tool does not only offer WYSIWYG technology, and the creation of a website from scratch is done through a built-in wizard.

It guides the user step-by-step through 5 stages, which in principle allow to almost click on the output website with the mouse. The user has at his disposal several interesting graphic templates, which can be used in his own project. Each of them is available in different colour versions.

We start working with this wizard by creating a new project. WebSite X5 Evolution also allows you to work with existing projects. The next step is to provide basic information about the website, i.e.

its title, author, URL, short description, keywords, language of content and the icon that is displayed in the web browser. In this step, select a graphical pattern, its style and menu type (horizontal or vertical). Then we move on to site planning, where we create a map of the site - in other words we generate more subpages and levels (up to 9) and define their names.

The process of completing the content of individual pages is based on dragging the type of object with the mouse and placing it in one of the page cells, i.e. the place where it is to be displayed. The user can use such objects as text, image, Flash animation, movies and sound, tables, galleries with graphics, e-mail forms, product lists and others.

The last stage of designing a website is to configure more advanced settings concerning the main menu, styles of most elements of the website (fonts, etc.), advertisements, introductory page, RSS feeds, blog, shop and access rights. A ready-made website design can be published directly from the program on the Internet or saved on a local hard disk. The trial version does not have any time limits, but it allows you to create up to 10 pages or levels.
