Wax is a simple and flexible tool for video editing and creating 2D and 3D special effects. It can work as a stand-alone application as well as an extension for professional video editing programs - Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas and Pure Motion EditStudio. The tool supports graphical acceleration, allows you to use an unlimited number of audio/video tracks within the project, supports plug-ins that extend the functionality of the program and supports most multimedia formats.

With the help of Wax we can also create interesting effects of subtitles or transitions with full support for 3D objects, lighting and shadows, textures, etc. The program supports VirtualDub extensions, DirectX plugins and Freeframe. Wax supports WAV, JPG, BMP, PCX, PNG, PBM, PGM, PNM, PPM, PSD, SGI, BW, RGB, RGBA, TGA, TIF, TIFF, DDS, DCX, ICO, PIX, PSP, XPM, AVI and AVS input formats.

The finished project can be saved as an AVI, MPEG, WAV, FLV file and many others.
