Start8 is a small tool that restores the Start menu in the classic Windows 8 interface. The Start menu, which is added to the taskbar, is located on the left side of the taskbar and has a standard layout to which users have become accustomed while using previous editions of Windows. By default, it is divided into two parts.
On the left you will find shortcuts to the most popular applications installed in the system - such as media player, mail client, task manager and others. On the right side there are links to the most important components of the system, i.e. control panel, user documents, Internet Explorer and the like.
In the Start menu added by Start8 there is also a search engine that allows you to efficiently search applications installed on your system and run them quickly and conveniently. The user is also provided with buttons for turning off or hibernating the computer. With the help of the tool we can even change the menu icon on the taskbar.
