Jedi Knight is one of the most recognizable series of games licensed under Star Wars. At one point every computer wanted to become a powerful and sword-powerful knight, which Activision was not indifferent to. This is how the Jedi Academy project was born, built on the same version of technology as Jedi Outcast, a slightly improved engine from the Quake III Arena hit.
The product gives you the opportunity to direct your own, created from scratch heroes. Here we choose the race, sex, clothes, and then the type of light sword, its appearance plus color, fighting style and of course we also develop selected powers. In general, we are dealing with an action game, with a successful mix of shooting in FPP and swords clashes in the view from behind the character's back.
The variety of opponents is also pleasing. Apart from still quite good graphics, the product also offers, of course, a great music track, which is characteristic for the whole cult cinema saga. The title allows you to feel like a real Jedi, and at the same time it does not limit the choice of computers only to the bright side of power.
Lovers of the film originals will enjoy the performance of great heroes, with the unbroken Luke Skywalker at the forefront. Trial version offers the whole editor of your character, which you can then play two interesting missions. It gives a big insight into the mechanics of the game.
