SQL Server 2008 Report Builder 2.0 is a free tool for managing SQL Server 2008 reports. Its functionality is based on SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services, but has been designed for less advanced users. The program allows you to create reports based on RDL and offers a number of wizards to make it easy to create tables, matrices or charts.

It allows you to directly open and edit reports stored on the server, supports visualization, formatted text, and can also be exported to Office Word format. An additional advantage of the application is the SQL query builder.
