Split Byte is a free application that offers the possibility of sharing and merging files. If you want to transfer larger data from one computer to another, send it by e-mail or burn it to a CD/DVD, we may have faced a situation where the weight of individual files made it impossible to perform such an operation. This problem can be solved by Split Byte, which divides files into a certain number of parts or in such a way that each of them has a certain size.

Importantly, after copying the divided files, we will be able to connect them quickly and easily. It is also worth noting that in the case of sharing confidential documents, Split Byte will allow you to encrypt the data and protect it with a password. You can also archive files, share them via email, or even delete the source material as soon as it is split or merged.

If it takes too long to perform a file split or merge operation, we don't have to wait for it to finish. After defining the appropriate function, Split Byte will automatically turn off the computer when it completes the task assigned to it. Split Byte also contains an additional MD5 Checksum tab, in which we compare the MD5 checksums of both files.

This ensures that the content is the same and that no data is lost when sharing, copying, sharing or merging fragments of files.
