SoftPerfect Network Scanner is a free and functional network scanner that allows for multithreaded testing of all computers in the local network using IP, NetBIOS and SNMP protocols. Due to the functions offered, the program is addressed to network administrators, but it can also be successfully used by home users. It allows you to search for all computers available on your network, as well as diagnose connections to them using Echo Reply ICMP packets and provide detailed information about each position (IP address, host name, MAC address, response time and shared resources).

SoftPerfect Network Scanner also gives us the ability to install shared folders in the system, search for open TCP ports, send text messages (net send, msg.exe) to other computers in the network and detect local and external IP address ranges. The tool does not require installation, supports Wak-On-Lan remote shutdown/ wake up of the computer and allows you to export results to HTML, XML, CSV and TXT files.
