Snipaste is a small but functional screenshot program. Compared to competing proposals, it is distinguished by numerous options of editing the projections made, including the imposition of notes on them, and even censorship in the form of blurred areas. The operation of the program is similar to that of the majority of this type of applications.

The icon on the toolbar informs us about the action. You can initiate a new snapshot by clicking on it or using a predefined keyboard shortcut. When taking a snapshot, it is possible to select the area of interest manually or to adjust it to the full screen, the active application window, or other smaller elements of the system interface.

The program also cooperates with the system clipboard (you can add the content saved in the clipboard) - PNG, JPG, BMP, TGA, ICO, TIFF and GIF formats, as well as some other types of documents, such as HTML and TXT, are supported in this respect. Snipaste also stands out from the competition by the number of settings that really allow you to tailor the operation of the application to your needs in detail. The manufacturer has prepared a separate installer for Windows XP users (available after extending the All versions section).
