Smite is a high quality free production of MOBA in a good frame, referring to ancient mythology, based on the scheme known from Defense of the Ancients – a popular modification for Warcraft III. This is not just any game, because it was created by Hi-Rez Studios, known from such network shooters as Tribes:

Ascend or Global Agenda. The title combines not only elements of the action game and strategy, but also to a large extent refers to arcade aspects. The game focuses on battles between teams built of players embodied in ancient deities.

The fights take place on symmetrical, in total small maps, on which teams consisting of various types of heroes with individual abilities, features and unique powers join the competition. Teams each time fight for dominance trying to reach the enemy base as quickly as possible and emerge victoriously from the final skirmish with Minotaur. Before this happens, however, we have to go through the obligatory tutorial.

It is worth noting that the game offers a very extensive Practice mode, in which less skilled players, preferably before entering the main game, can get to know all the arcana of the fight and face computer opponents. In the game you can also use a special shop, where you can buy useful items, increase power, physical strength or improve your defense skills. The cost of specific boosters depends on their power and usefulness.

The authors have not forgotten about the micropayment system ;-), but using them in the case of Smite does not play such a significant role as it happens in the case of other productions. Smite is an energetic and very addictive position. The ability to compete with other players, interesting scenery, dynamism of the clashes, a number of available modes, excellent audio-visual setting and high level of playability, additionally enhanced by the aspect of dexterity, are just some of the strengths of this title.
