SmartSynchronize is a tool for comparing different text files or directories. From the main program window we can get an overview of the compared files. We usually do this by dividing the application interface into two parts, but nothing stands in the way of checking the content of three documents at the same time.

Naturally, you can edit single words, full sentences or paragraphs and move changes from one file to another. Document merging is also available. When comparing directories, SmartSynchronize offers custom scanning using filters that you can customize to suit your needs (e.g.

you can define ignoring selected documents). Interestingly, we can also save this configuration for later use (it is useful if the comparison takes place at given intervals, e.g. once a week).

SmartSynchronize also allows you to automatically sync files, but remember that this is only done on your local computer. The program was not created to synchronize data, e.g. on FTP servers.
