Sigil is a useful tool designed to quickly create your own e-books in the popular ePub format. The program uses WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) philosophy, but you can also view the code of the book description and edit metadata, add a multi-level table of contents and graphics in SVG format. In Sigil, you can open books in (X)HTML, TXT and ePub formats, and save to ePub and SGF (the native Sigil format).

If necessary, they will be cleared using the HTML Tidy tool and the text will be converted to UTF-16.
