Shotty is a free application designed to create snapshots of a selected window, whole screen or a selected area of the desktop. One of the most interesting functions offered by Shotty is the ability to capture windows in Aero Glass mode with the setting of background transparency and shadows around the window frames. This feature works with Windows Vista and above.

In addition, the Shotty allows you to change the colour of the Aero Glass before taking a screenshot and allows you to turn off the transparency mode. Shotty is also equipped with a simple graphic editor, in which we can quickly and effectively mark a selected region, add a text signature, cut out the indicated area of graphics, blur a fragment of the photo or change the size of graphics. From the editor level, the user can not only save (PNG, GIF, BMP, TIF, JPEG) graphics on the disk, but also print or send directly to one of the popular services hosting graphics.

Other options offered by the application include the ability to automatically save screenshots, generate watermarks, optimize PNG and GIF graphics, or choose a supplier to host graphics.
